I never knew the power of unhealed hurt until I discovered that my creative power was channelled into grieving over the pain and reminiscing on bad memories. What happened was that my creativity was locked in a cage and I kept the keys in the hands of the one who hurt me. On one occasion, I remember that small still voice saying to me “ I can’t pour out into a heart that is polluted”. That was just what I needed to hear. I discovered that my greatest treasure in life was my mind! It was my responsibility to guard it, because that’s where my creative power lives and each time it is unleashed, I birth forth great things that becomes a great blessing. After the period of grieving, now I felt the only way to prevent future pain was to belong. In the period of belonging, I lost who I was. I lost my life essence, what makes me who I am. It took me time, but I walked the journey. The journey of rediscovering who exactly I was. The journey of rediscovering me in the eyes of God. Yes! That was the image that was corrupted that I needed to get back. I was pleased at what I saw. Yes! I am created in His image and Likeness. He loves me. All things are working together for my Good. I love me! Yes me! Then my self esteem came back to life. I knew my significance. I was ready to unleash every creativity in me. I was ready to create, multiply, replenish, solve problems, transform and be a blessing. If He says I can, then I can! I rose, I rediscovered, I decided to be me in His eyes, I took responsibility for me and now I am soaring.
